Howth Head

The colours on Howth Head in September are simply stunning but it is well worth a visit any time of the year. There is a cliff walk with views of Dublin bay, Ireland's Eye and you can even see the Sugarloaf off to the south on a clear day. We did a 5km walk around the head but you can vary the paths you take to make it longer/shorter. There is an uneven surface and a bit of up/downhill but by no means an arduous walk.

If you are going at weekends or during the summer go early if you wish to avail of the car park as it is a very popular spot.
